Super Bowl XLIII Reactions- Part 2

I recently visted SeaWorld in Orlando Florida and was able to visit the Clydesdale Horses. I had been around horses before, but never clydesdales. They are HUGE, beautiful creatures, which allowed me to enjoy the Budweiser Clydesdale ads even more.

Budweiser “Clydesdale Stick” This one especially made me laugh out loud, because I’ve seen my black lab attempt to carry around sticks, or logs, this big.

Budweiser “Clydesdale Generations” A modern day clydesdale reflects on his ancestry. I think this ad really highlights the majesty of these horses.

Budweiser “Clydesdale Circus” The circus and a Clydesdale’s love leaves town, but love and clydesdales know no boundaries!

Did you like this year’s Budweiser Clydesdale ads? What ones did you like from the past?

  1. In this day and age, we yearn for an authentic American firm to root for. Budweiser always filled the bill.

In 2008, Imbev (Europe) bought out Busch and they are no longer an American beermaker. Layoffs enmasse will soon follow in St. Louis (where I saw the Clydesdales).

Watching their ads in the past has almost been patriotic. Watching their ads anymore is a moment for silence, then grief.
It didn’t have to be that way at all. Bud sold out.

And did you notice the “Bridgestone Superbowl”?
What’s next? The Toyota Grand Canyon?
The United States of America by Mittal Steel Corporation?

And what gives with cheerleaders anymore?
Pittsburgh would rather wave a yellow towel than have cheerleaders (better than Cleveland waving Dawgs in the Pound).
But Arizona is loaded with cheerleaders. Their total minutes on TV for the entire event may add up to 3 or 4 minutes tops. Perhaps if they were known as the Pepsi Arizona Cardinal Cheerleaders, they would get more time to act like a Rockette at the Superbowl.
God alone knows they will never get back to the Superbowl.

(God loves the Steelers anyway. Teams from both sides pray like crazy. God’s answer to prayer? 6 wins for Steelers. God rests His case, an insight into wisdom if ever there was one).

Sorry to get away from your ads there Erica. 😦
Bud has always had the best ads.
They just have a crummy company anymore to go along with the deception.

    Steelers Excellent!
Cheerleaders? Maybe another day; another team.
    Clydsdales. Bravo!
God. Rooting for Steelers 7th already. 🙂
Ads. The game has been better than ads two years in a row.

    Best regards,
    Danny Lucas
