About Me
I began working for DeWolf eMarketing and Design as an independent consultant in August 2007, based out of the Erie PA area, in the area of marketing, web design, and new media.
I was recently involved in the initial launch of an eMarketing Learning Center at eBizITPA, located in Knowledge Park at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, which will educate professionals on the importance of new media and internet marketing as it fits into their overall Marketing Plan. The eMarketing Learning Center will offer educational e-marketing courses in order to assist companies in NW PA, and beyond, to stay ahead of their competition by remaining educated on the newest and most effective marketing mediums.
I have written the curriculum for the Comprehensive Guide to Email Marketing course currently being offered by the eMarketing Learning Center, as well as the follow-up Hands on Email Marketing course that will also soon be offered. I wrote these courses from scratch, first gathering an extensive amount of secondary research, all the way up to writing the copy and excercises included in the course workbook.
While at the center, I also created a Web 2.0 presentation, specifically for nonprofits, which was presented at The Nonprofit Partnership (of Erie, PA)’s 2007 “Nonprofit Day”Conference, in which interactive web strategies to build nonprofits. This presentation included information about podcasts, RSS feeds, blogging, and more.
My interests are very broad. Advertising and Marketing are my two obvious loves. I love learning about new media and new ways to expose messages. Guerrilla advertising is extremely fascinating to me.
I also love to create web pages, although I do not get to practice this craft very often, as my current work does not often allow me to express my creativity in the form of web pages. I’m currently in the process of updating my personal web page by including new updated information and archiving my previous projects, but upon my new independent consulting endeavors, it is coming along slowly.
As I mentioned, I graduated from Penn State University, ambitiously completing my four year B.A. in Advertising in just under three years.
I have decided to continue my ambition and begin to offer independent consulting services, based on many offers I have already received. I am currently looking for more projects where I can put my ideas and skills to work and create or be involved with satisfying and lucrative results.
Please visit my Services page to learn what services I offer. If you feel your company could benefit from my skills, please contact me.
Also, feel free to post any thoughts or comments you may have to any of my posts, and email me if there are other matters or ideas you would like to discuss.
Enjoy my blog!

Hi Erica:
I saw your post about babies website. Can I use that to create a website for my freelance writing business? I didn’t know if google had any restrications on creating a website for-profit. I was going to just use wordpress until I saw your post so thank you for the food for thought.

Not that I’m impressed a lot, but this is more than I expected when I found a link on Digg telling that the info here is quite decent. Thanks.

Hey Erica.
I stumbled upon your blog whilst doing some general searching on viral marketing, and have to say, I enjoy it.
I love Seth Godin, and have recently become aware of David Thorne.
We also have the same WordPress theme *glee*.
